I would like to know if there is a program like this in New Mexico for my son or if you have any resources for him? He is going to be two and a half soon and barely says 20 words and I would like to get him in a program to help his speech. Can you help?
Hello Brianna: There are programs in every state for children ages birth to three to make sure they are on track. In New Mexico it is called the Family Infant Toddler Program and the webpage is http://nmhealth.org/ddsd/nmfit/Referral/Referral.htm
Good luck, I’m sure they will be able to help you determine what he needs.
Warmly, Linda, the BCW Lady
Can my son receive disability if he’s through Baby’s can’t wait I’ve already filed 4 months ago awaiting a decision…
Christy. You must be in Georgia where they call their early intervention program “Babies Can’t Wait” They are not connected to us. You will need to contact your local Babies Can’t Wait program for the answer to your question.
Good luck!
Warmly, Linda, the BCW Lady
