BCW Cultural Diversity and Dual Language Learning Trainings:
These intensive cultural diversity and DLL trainings provide a comprehensive view of the highest quality communication practices by bridging theory into practice. Emphasis is placed upon providing a nurturing, supportive environment for workers to encourage them to think creatively about ways to begin or enhance practices.
Training is based on adult learning theory and current research. Training is practical and concrete, designed to reduce fears and increase support and excitement about program philosophy and practice. Participants leave the trainings excited about home visiting and eager to try new techniques.

Head Start/Early Head Start Diversity: Cross-Cultural Communication A one-day workshop followed by one day of expert consultation.
The children and families served in Head Start and Early Head Start reflect the ethnic and cultural diversity of the United States. All children and families deserve services that are responsive to their families, their communities, and to their ethnic, racial, and linguistic backgrounds. Early childhood staff need information on working with diversity, in particular cross-cultural communication, in order to face the challenge of responding respectfully and appropriately to all the children and families in their care.

Dual Language Learning Consultation and Training
Our DLL services provide a variety of methods to ensure your program meets the Head Start Program Performance Standards and implements quality services. Often, programs choose to use consultation as their first approach. We can help guide your program to ensure DLL concepts and practical strategies are positioned throughout all components and areas of the program.
